| Abstract: | Penggemukan domba merupakan salah satu bentuk usaha peternakan ruminansia kecil yang memiliki prospek ekonomi tinggi, terutama dalam mendukung penyediaan protein hewani nasional. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Mang Koboi, yang terletak di Kecamatan Kemang, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk menganalisis aspek teknis dan finansial dari usaha penggemukan domba yang dilakukan selama periode tiga bulan. Pengumpulan data diperoleh secara primer dan sekunder. Objek ternak terdiri dari 90 ekor domba lokal yang meliputi domba garut, domba ekor tipis, domba ekor gemuk, dan domba priangan dengan umur antara 6–8 bulan. Aspek pemeliharaan yang dianalisis mencakup manajemen kandang, pemberian pakan, kesehatan, pengelolaan limbah, serta evaluasi performa dan finansial. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sistem manajemen yang diterapkan di Mang Koboi cukup efisien, dengan rata-rata pertambahan bobot badan harian (PBBH) mencapai 137,15 g/ekor/hari dan bobot panen rata-rata 28,60 kg/ekor. Dari sisi finansial, usaha ini memperoleh keuntungan bersih sebesar Rp 15.404.447 dengan nilai Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C) sebesar 1,11, yang menandakan usaha ini layak dijalankan. Sheep fattening is one form of small ruminant farming that has high economic prospects, particularly in supporting the national supply of animal protein. This activity is carried out in Mang Koboi, located in Kemang District, Bogor Regency, West Java. The objective of this activity is to analyze the technical and financial aspects of sheep fattening carried out over a three-month period. Data collection was obtained through primary and secondary sources. The livestock consists of 90 local sheep, including Garut sheep, Thin-tailed sheep, Fat-tailed sheep, and Priangan sheep, aged between 6–8 months. The aspects of livestock management analyzed include barn management, feeding, health, waste management, as well as performance and financial evaluation. The analysis results indicate that the management system implemented at Mang Koboi is quite efficient, with an average daily weight gain (ADG) of 137.15 g/head/day and an average harvest weight of 28.60 kg/head. From a financial perspective, the business achieved a net profit of Rp 15.404.447 with a Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C) of 1,11, indicating that the business is viable to operate. |
