| Abstract: | Kualitas dan keamanan ikan mudah terkontaminasi sehingga membutuhkan
penanganan yang baik. Disamping urgensinya, penanganan ikan di kapal mini purse seine Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara (PPN) Muara Angke belum maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan alur penanganan ikan, menghitung tingkat kesesuaian penanganan ikan dengan standar, dan menyusun strategi optimalisasi CPIB kapal mini purse seine dari proses pembongkaran hingga alat transportasi pengangkut di PPN Muara Angke. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode pengumpulan data secara observasi, wawancara, dan pengisian
kuesioner. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan alur penanganan ikan dimulai dari pembersihan ikan hingga pengangkutan ikan ke alat transportasi angkut. Tingkat kesesuaian penanganan ikan berdasarkan standar pada pembongkaran bernilai 64,90%, fasilitas penanganan dan penyimpanan ikan di kapal 64,96%, standar prosedur penanganan dan penyimpanan ikan di kapal 57,73%. Rekomendasi strategi optimalisasi CPIB di kapal mini purse seine yaitu: menjalin kerjasama yang baik dengan para pemasok, inspeksi rutin terhadap konstruksi kapal dan peralatan penanganan ikan, menambah frekuensi pengangkutan sampah harian. Fish quality and safety are highly susceptible to contamination, requiring proper handling. Despite its importance, handling practices on mini purse seine vessels at the Nusantara Fisheries Port (PPN) Muara Angke remain suboptimal. This study aims to describe the fish handling process, assess compliance with handling standards, and develop optimization strategies for Good Fish Handling Practices (CPIB) from fish landing to loading fish onto transport vehicles. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Results show that the handling process starts from cleaning to transporting fish to vehicles. Suitability levels were 64,90% for fish unloading process, 64,96% for onboard fish handling facilities, and 57,73% for onboard fish handling procedures. Optimization strategies include enhancing cooperation with suppliers, conducting regular inspections of vessel structures and handling equipment, and increasing daily waste collection frequency. |
