Liquid smoke is a natural ingredient that has the potential to be a natural antioxidant made from coconut shell waste, which contains phenol, tannin, flavonoid and saponin compounds so that it can overcome oxidative stress. This study aims to analyze the effect of administering grade 1 liquid smoke on the production performance of quail in the layer period aged 40-47 weeks. The research method used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatment levels and 3 replications, namely P0 (control), P1 (0.25 mL), P2 (0.5 mL), and P3 (1 mL) through drinking water. The variables observed were temperature and humidity, feed consumption, egg production, feed conversion, egg weight, and mortality. The data obtained will be analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). If there is a real difference, further testing will be carried out using the Tukey test. The results of the study showed that administering grade 1 liquid smoke through drinking water did not have a negative effect on quail. Administration of grade 1 liquid smoke at a dose of 1 mL showed the best results in terms of feed consumption and egg production.
