Anthropogenic activities around the waters of Situ Burung have the potential to decrease water quality. This decline in water quality can affect organisms living in the water, including benthic organisms. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the structure of the macrozoobenthos community and water quality. The research was conducted from September to October 2024. The sampling of macrozoobenthos was carried out using a Van Veen Grab with five repetitions. Water quality parameters tested include temperature, turbidity, depth, pH, BOD, and DO. The analysis methods include density, composition, ecological indices, sediment type, and principal component analysis. The highest density was found at Station 1 with 679 ind/m2, while the lowest was at Station 4 with 27 ind/m2. The composition of macrozoobenthos identified consists of 3 classes and 9 genera. Stations 1 and 2 have high species diversity leading to even distribution, while Stations 3 and 4 have low species diversity leading to an uneven distribution with a dominant species, namely Allonais sp.
