| Abstract: | Potensi domba lokal di Indonesia masih memiliki fungsi secara ekonomis
karena permintaan daging domba yang setiap tahun terus meningkat. Peningkatan
permintaan ini tentunya menjadi sebuah celah peluang usaha bagi para peternak.
Tujuan dari usaha peternakan ini adalah sebagai bagian dalam upaya menambah
keterampilan, wawasan dan pengalaman dalam bidang penggemukan domba dan
juga mempelajari persoalan yang ada di lapangan serta cara menanggulanginya.
Metode yang dipakai pada kegiatan pengelolaan usaha ini yaitu terjun langsung
kelapangan dan metode pengambilan data mengunakan primer dan sekunder.
Parameter yang diamati berupa manajemen pemeliharaan, manajemen pakan,
manajemen kesehatan, manajemen limbah dan evaluasi performa produksi. Jenis
domba yang dipelihara yaitu domba garut. Penggemukan dilakukan selama 60 hari.
Manajemen Usaha di peternakan Kapten Domba terbilang cukup baik dilihat dari
indikator keberhasilan yaitu nilai BEP (Break Even Point) produksi 5 ekor dan BEP
(Break Even Point) harga Rp.1.246.554 Pendapatan bersih yang diterima sebesar
Rp. 1.267.229, dengan analisis kelayakan usaha R/C (Revenue Cost Ratio) 1,2 yang
berarti usaha ini layak untuk dijalankan.
Kata kunci : Bogor, Kapten Domba, Pengelolaan Usaha, Penggemukan The potential of local sheep in Indonesia still has an economic function because the demand for lamb meat continues to increase every year. This increase in demand is certainly a gap in business opportunities for farmers. The aim of this livestock business is as part of an effort to increase skills, insight and experience in the field of sheep fattening and also to study the problems that exist in the field and how to overcome them. The method used in this business management activity is to go directly to the field and the data collection method uses primary and secondary data. The parameters observed were maintenance management, feed management, health management, waste management and production performance evaluation. The type of sheep raised is Garut sheep. Fattening is carried out for 60 days. Business Management at the Kapten Domba farm is quite good, seen from the success indicators, namely the BEP (Break Even Point) value of 5 heads of production and the BEP (Break Even Point) price of Rp. 1.246.554. The net income received is Rp. 1.267.229, with a business feasibility analysis of R / C (Revenue Cost Ratio) 1.2 which means this business is worth running.
