This study was conducted to assess the social sustainability of smallholder dairy farms in two places, namely KUD Giritani and KUNAK Bogor. The study used a descriptive method with data collection through surveys, observations, and interviews with 80 randomly selected farmers. Data were analyzed quantitatively using a scoring system on several social aspects, such as business succession, family cooperation, number of workers, participation in cooperatives, and education level. The results showed that KUNAK excelled in land area, number of cows, cooperative participation, and education level of its farmers. On the other hand, KUD Giritani is stronger in family cooperation and labor use. Both locations have their own strengths in supporting farm sustainability. Improved training, education, and involvement of the younger generation are needed for the livestock business to continue.
