Abstract: Kebisingan adalah suara yang tidak diinginkan dan dapat mengganggu kenyamanan pendengaran. Di perpustakaan, kebisingan serta pencahayaan yang tidak sesuai, baik terlalu terang ataupun terlalu redup dapat mengganggu konsentrasi dan kenyamanan pengunjung. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, dikembangkan alat monitoring berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang mampu memantau tingkat kebisingan dan intensitas cahaya secara real-time. Alat ini menggunakan sensor MAX4466 untuk kebisingan, sensor BH1750 untuk cahaya, dan ESP32 sebagai pengolah data. Hasil pengukuran dikirim ke aplikasi Blynk untuk pemantauan langsung dan memberikan notifikasi jika melebihi ambang batas. Data juga disimpan ke Google Spreadsheet untuk analisis dan evaluasi jangka panjang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghadirkan sistem monitoring yang informatif dan responsif demi menjaga kenyamanan dan mendukung aktivitas belajar di perpustakaan.
Noise is an unwanted sound that can disturb auditory comfort. In a library setting, both excessive noise and inappropriate lighting—whether too bright or too dim—can disrupt visitors' concentration and comfort. To address these issues, an Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring device was developed to measure noise levels and light intensity in real-time. This device utilizes the MAX4466 sensor for noise detection, the BH1750 sensor for measuring light intensity, and the ESP32 microcontroller as the main data processor. The measurement results are sent to the Blynk application for real-time monitoring and will trigger notifications when the readings exceed the defined thresholds. In addition, the data is also stored in Google Spreadsheet for long-term analysis and evaluation. The aim of this research is to develop an informative and responsive monitoring system to help maintain comfort and support learning activities in the library.
