| Abstract: | Ekosistem mangrove di wilayah pesisir Kabupaten Tangerang memiliki potensi ekonomi tinggi melalui jasa penyediaan seperti perikanan tangkap, budidaya kerang hijau, dan ekstraksi hasil mangrove, serta jasa kultural berupa
Mangrove ecosystems in the coastal areas of Tangerang Regency have high economic potential through provisioning services such as capture fisheries, green mussel cultivation, and mangrove product extraction, as well as cultural services in the form of ecotourism that supports the community economy through MSMEs and local employment. However, reclamation, environmental degradation, and high ecotourism entrance fees threaten ecosystem sustainability and community welfare. Lack of information on ecosystem service valuation hampers development and awareness of the importance of mangroves. This study aims to identify the socioecological components, calculate the economic value of provisioning and cultural services, measure the level of dependence of Ketapang Village communities on mangroves, and formulate sustainable management strategies. The household income approach was used to estimate the economic value of mangrove ecosystem services, purposive and snowball sampling for respondent selection, and Point Quarter and transect quadrat methods for ecological data. The dominant mangrove species is Rhizophora mucronata, with the main actors such as fishermen, cultivators, and SMEs. The economic value of provisioning and cultural services reached Rp3.564.563.592,73/month and Rp16.181.250,73/month, respectively, with community dependency levels of 61.01% and 12.63%, and an average total dependency of 36.82%. |
