| Abstract: | Pulau-pulau kecil dikenal rentan terhadap dampak perubahan iklim, sehingga masyarakatnya perlu beradaptasi agar bertahan hidup.
Small islands are known to be highly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, so their communities need to adapt to survive. Their adaptive capacity depends on how they perceive climate change. This study aims to analyze the influence of perception on climate change adaptation strategies in Harapan Island, Jakarta. A quantitative approach supported by a qualitative approach was used. We selected 75 respondents randomly, whereas six key informants were purposively chosen. Ordinal regression was used to analyze the quantitative data, while qualitative data went through data reduction, data display, and verification. We found that Harapan Island communities do not yet view climate change as a serious threat. Among the four indicators of climate change perception, two were found to have a positive and significant influence on the community's adaptation strategies. |
