| Abstract: | Kumis kucing merupakan tanaman obat yang dilaporkan memiliki kandungan flavonoid dan kapasitas antioksidan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan kandungan total flavonoid dan kapasitas antioksidan pada daun kumis kucing hasil budidaya dengan penambahan pupuk tunggal dan kombinasi NPK. Sampel dibudidayakan dengan pemberian pupuk tunggal dan kombinasi NPK serta diekstraksi menggunakan pelarut etanol 96% dengan metode Microwave Assisted Extraction (MAE). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar total flavonoid tertinggi dihasilkan oleh ekstrak dengan perlakuan kombinasi pupuk NPK (2,491 ± 0,14 mg QE/g DW). Kapasitas antioksidan CUPRAC dan ABTS tertinggi dihasilkan oleh ekstrak dengan perlakuan kombinasi pupuk NPK (97,566 ± 5,37 µmol TE/g DW) dan kombinasi pupuk NP (66,420 ± 2,02 µmol TE/g DW). Penambahan pupuk kombinasi NPK menjadi kombinasi pupuk terbaik untuk meningkatkan kapasitas antioksidan dari daun kumis kucing. Cat whiskers is a medicinal plant reported to have flavonoid content and antioxidant capacity. This study aims to determine the total flavonoid content and antioxidant capacity in cat whiskers leaves cultivated with the addition of single and combination NPK fertilizers. The samples were cultivated using single and NPK combination fertilizers and extracted with 96% ethanol using the Microwave Assisted Extraction (MAE) method. The results showed that the highest total flavonoid content was found in the extract treated with the combined NPK fertilizer (2,491 ± 0,14 mg QE/g DW). The highest CUPRAC and ABTS antioxidant activities were observed in extracts treated with the combined NPK fertilizer (97,566 ± 5,37 µmol TE/g DW) and the combined NP fertilizer (66,420 ± 2,02 µmol TE/g DW), respectively. The addition of combined NPK fertilizer proved to be the most effective treatment for enhancing the antioxidant activity of cat whiskers leaves. |
