The skyline-assisted felling technique is an option for the Wonosobo private, both felling workers and private forest owners, so that felling activities do not damage salak plants and other plants under the stand. The felling technique is used in private forests with agroforestry planting patterns. This study aims to calculate the productivity and costs of the skyline felling technique in private forests with agroforestry cropping patterns in Wonosobo. This study was conducted in seven private forest areas, which were logged using a selective felling system (needfelling). Measuring felling work time was based on video analysis, while diameter measurements at breast height, branch-free height, and total height were measured directly in the field. Costs were obtalined from interviews with timber traders or felling teams. The productivity and cost of the tali layang-assisted felling technique were compared with the conventional felling technique. The results showed that the productivity of the skyline felling technique was lower than the conventional felling technique, and the operational costs of the skyline felling technique were higher than the conventional felling technique.
