| dc.description.abstract | The relationship between the state and business plays a crucial role in shaping the social and economic dynamics of a country. However, the understanding of this relationship is often fragmented, particularly from the perspective of social theory. This study aims to identify research trends, the core theories employed, and relevant social theories in the study of state-business relations, while also designing an integrated social theory architecture. The methodology used is an Integrative Literature Review (ILR), with data collected from Scopus and additional literature, and analyzed bibliometrically using VOSviewer. The findings reveal five main clusters: economic governance, CSR, state-business relations, authoritarian capitalism, and global market dynamics. Out of the 19 major theories analyzed, only 10 are relevant social theories, such as Stakeholder Theory, Institutional Theory, and Political CSR Theory. This research concludes that state-business relations require a multidisciplinary approach that integrates various theoretical perspectives to provide a holistic view of the dynamics of power, legitimacy, and regulation. | |
