| Abstract: | Ikan jurung merupakan ikan air tawar endemik Indonesia dengan peminat dan harga jual yang cukup tinggi. Namun demikian, masih adanya kendala dalam produksi yang belum optimal terutama pada fase penetasan telur dan fase larva. Proyek akhir ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas ekstrak daun ketapang dalam meningkatkan produksi benih ikan jurung. Proyek akhir ini menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap (RAL), dengan tiga perlakuan dan masing-masing tiga ulangan. Rancangan dosis perendaman dengan ekstrak daun ketapang meliputi perlakuan ekstrak daun ketapang dosis 2 mL/L (EKP2), perlakuan ekstrak daun ketapang dosis 4 mL/L (EKP4) dan perlakuan kontrol (K). Proses perendaman dengan ekstrak daun ketapang berlangsung selama 16 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai derajat penetasan dan sintasan tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan EKP2 sebesar 84,51±0,71% dan 91,60±0,59%. Penambahan ekstrak daun ketapang dosis 2 mL/L pada proses penetasan mampu meningkatkan produktivitas benih ikan jurung. Jurung fish is a freshwater fish endemic to Indonesia, that has a high market demand and price. However, production still faces obstacles, particularly during the egg hatching and larval stages. Study animed examine the effectiveness of ketapang leaf extract in increasing the seed production in jurung fish. The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three treatments and three replications. Extract dosage treatments included 2 mL/L ketapang leaf extract (EKP2), 4 mL/L ketapang leaf extract (EKP4), and a control (K) with no extract. The soaking process using ketapang leaf extract lasted for 16 h. The results showed that the highest hatching rate and survival were found in the EKP2 treatment, with values of 84,51%±0,71% and 91,60%±0,59%, respectively. The addition of 2 mL/L ketapang leaf extract during the hatching process can improve the productivity. |
