Lingga, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau, merupakan sentra produksi sagu dengan luas lahan mencapai 3.258 hektar. Potensi sagu di Kabupaten Lingga terus berkembang setiap waktunya hingga masyarakat Kabupaten Lingga memiliki sumber pendapatan melalui agroindustri. Pemanfaatan sagu oleh masyarakat sangat beragam, karena hampir seluruh bagian batang sagu dapat digunakan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji tipe agroindustri sagu, dan karakteristik produk. Metode yang digunakan mencakup wawancara, observasi partisipatif, dan studi literatur. Agroindustri di Kabupaten Lingga sebanyak 115 agroindustri yang terdiri dari empat tipe, yakni sagu kotor yang berjumlah 97 agroindustri, sagu bersih sebanyak 14 agroindustri, pati kering sebanyak 14 agroindustri, dan pengeringan pati kering berjumlah 1 agroindustri. Hasil produk agroindustri sagu, dipasarkan secara lokal hingga ke mancanegara. The availability of food sources of carbohydrates is a major concern in Indonesia. Sago can be an effort to diversify food besides rice. Lingga Regency, Riau Islands Province, is a center of sago production with a land area of 3,258 hectares. The potential of sago in Lingga Regency continues to grow every time until the people of Lingga Regency have a source of income through agro-industry. The utilization of sago by the community is very diverse, because almost all parts of the sago trunk can be used. The research aims to assess the type of sago agro industry, and product characteristics. The methods used include interviews, participatory observation, and literature study. There are 115 agro-industries in Lingga Regency consisting of four types, namely 97 agro-industries of dirty sago, 14 agro-industries of clean sago, 14 agro-industries of dried starch, and 1 agro industry of dried starch drying. Sago agro-industry products are marketed locally and internationally. |
