Pengendalian kualitas merupakan aspek krusial dalam proses carbody assembly di PT XYZ untuk memastikan produk carbody memenuhi standar sesuai spesifikasi yang telah ditetapkan sebelum dilanjutkan pada proses berikutnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses carbody assembly dengan penerapan metode Six Sigma menggunakan pendekatan DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Pada tahap define hingga tahap analyze dilakukan pengumpulan data, mengukur tingkat cacat, dan menemukan akar penyebab masalah. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan didapat hasil nilai DPMO rata-rata adalah sebesar 15.266,54 dengan level sigma rata-rata adalah sebesar 3,71. Rekomendasi usulan perbaikan terkait permasalahan yang telah dianalisis berupa pelatihan kerja, pembuatan instruksi mutu, dan pembuatan checksheet incoming inspection. Meskipun implementasi perbaikan belum dilakukan, rekomendasi yang diberikan menjadi dasar penting untuk langkah perbaikan selanjutnya dan pengendalian kualitas yang berkelanjutan di PT XYZ. Quality control is a crucial aspect in the carbody assembly process at PT XYZ to ensure carbody products meet the standards according to predetermined spesifications before proceeding to the next process. This research aims to improve the quality of carbody assembly process by applying Six Sigma method using DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) approach. From the Define to Analyze phases, data collection, measuring the defect rate, and finding the root cause of the problem are carried out. Based on the calculation result, the average DPMO value is 15.266,54 with an average sigma level of 3,71. recommendations for proposed improvements related to the problems that have been analyzed are in the form of job training, making quality instructions, and making incoming inspection checksheets. Although the implementation of these improvements has not been carried out, the recommendations provided are an important basis for further improvement steps and sustainable quality control at PT XYZ. |
