Hasil penelitian berupa serangkaian artefak desain berbasis pengalaman pengguna, antara lain empathy map, customer journey map, user persona, point of view (PoV) statement, dan how might we (HMW) question. The implementation of inclusive education for Deaf Friends in higher education still faces various challenges, especially in creating truly inclusive learning methods and environments. This study aims to identify and analyze the needs, behaviors, and challenges faced by Teman Tuli in the learning process in higher education. To achieve this goal, this research adapts the Design Thinking method and involves Teman Tuli as the main participant through exploratory interviews and contextual analysis of findings. The research produces a series of user experience-based design artifacts, including an empathy map, customer journey map, user persona, point of view (PoV) statement, and how might we (HMW) question. These design artifacts serve as a strategic guide in developing the interface prototype of the Deaf Buddy, a personalized application tailored to the learning needs of deaf students in university setting. This study offers a practical contribution to the development of inclusive technology solutions and lays the groundwork for subsequent prototyping and usability testing. |
