Abstract: The general problem in a controlling supply system linked to the current occurrences that deals with the companies. Those occurrences were the abundant ar the lack of supplies. The abundant of the company supply caused the extra costs such as the increase of storage cost, which can be transferred to other significant sectors. On the contrary, iflack supply of materials occurred thus there would be imperfect service to the consumer. The object in supply problems analysis on Salak Hotel was to help storage room and purchasing department to control their inventory movement. The objectives of this study is to develop the management infonnation system that could supervise the movement of material supply and it's level. And also could give recommendation about the ordering time and the optimal order amount. The algorithm used in this research was the system approach. The system approach was a problem solving method that initiated by identifying needs and the output was producing the efficient and effective operational system .. The proposed system was Sis tern Inforrnasi Manajernen Inventori Hotel Salak (Sirnvent Salak) that designed in Microsofi Visual BasiC 6.0 software using 1997 Microsoft Access databases. The Sistern Inforrnasi Manajernen Inventori Hotel Salak (Sirnvent Salak) was able to produce infonnation that helped management function and as a foundation to produce the decision and action in maintaining the material supply level.
