| Abstract: | Ikan bogo (Channa limbata) mempunyai nilai ekonomis sebagai komoditas
ikan hias.
hijau (525 nm) berbeda fotoperiode (0, 12, 24 jam). Laju pertumbuhan – bobot
dibandingkan pencahayaan alami (p<0,05), sedangkan laju pertambahan panjang
mutlak yang tertinggi pada perlakuan fotoperiode 24 jam. Paparan spektrum cahaya
The bogo fish (Channa limbata) has economic value as an ornamental fish commodity. Domestication of bogo snakehead fish is an effort to make it a cultivated species to reduce capture from nature. This study aims to determine the responsse of bogo fish domestication in a cultivation medium with exposure to the green light spectrum. Bogo fish seeds measuring 6-7 cm were maintained individually in an aquarium (30 x 25 x 25 cm) for 48 days with exposure to green light (525 nm) with different photoperiods (0, 12, 24 hours). The growth rate - weight of bogo fish seeds in media with 12-hour and 24-hour photoperiods was higher than natural lighting (p <0.05), and the highest absolute length increase rate was in the 24-hour photoperiod treatment. Exposure to green light spectrum with 24-hour photoperiod also affected the highest gonad development with gonadosomatic index (GSI) (1.75 ± 0.18%) and hepatosomatic index (HSI) (1.69 ± 0.10%). Based on the relationship between the length and weight of bogo fish at the beginning and end of the study, there was no difference, namely negative allometric. |
