dc.description.abstractKUD Giri Tani merupakan koperasi yang berfokus pada sektor peternakan sapi perah. Untuk meningkatkan populasi sapi perlu dilaksanakan program yang mendukung pertumbuhan populasi, salah satunya inseminasi buatan. Untuk meningkatkan tingkat keberhasilan IB sapi perah di KUD Giri Tani, perlu dilakukan evaluasi pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan Inseminasi Buatan berdasarkan service per conception (S/C) dan conception rate (CR). Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan gambaran tentang tingkat keberhasilan inseminasi buatan pada sapi perah di KUD Giri Tani. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai bahan evaluasi bagi peternak dan inseminator untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi reproduksi sapi perah. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi data recording inseminasi buatan sapi perah di KUD Giri Tani pada bulan Juli hingga Oktober 2024. Data penelitian diambil melalui observasi dan wawancara terhadap ketua KUD Giri Tani serta tujuh ketua kelompok ternak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai S/C rata-rata sebesar 3,69 dan nilai CR sebesar 26%. Hasil tersebut belum optimal sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa penerapan IB pada peternakan KUD Giri Tani kurang baik. Kata kunci: evaluasi, inseminasi buatan, KUD Giri Tani, sapi perah ILHAM M. Evaluation of the Success of Artificial Insemination of Dairy Cows in the Dry Season at KUD Giri Tani Cisarua. Supervised by LUCIA CYRILLA and IYEP KOMALA. KUD Giri Tani is a cooperative that focuses on the dairy cows farming sector. To increase the cattle population, it is necessary to implement programs that support population growth, one of which is artificial insemination. To increase the success rate of AI of dairy cows at KUD Giri Tani, an evaluation of its implementation is needed. This study aims to determine the success rate of Artificial Insemination based on Service per Conception (S/C) and Conception Rate (CR). It is hoped that the results of this study can provide an overview of the success rate of artificial insemination in dairy cows at KUD Giri Tani. In addition, the results of this study can be used as evaluation material for farmers and inseminators to increase the productivity and efficiency of dairy cow reproduction. The data used in this study include artificial insemination recording data of dairy cattle at KUD Giri Tani from July to October 2024. Research data was taken through observation and interviews with the head of KUD Giri Tani and seven heads of livestock groups. The results showed an average S/C value of 3,69 and a CR value of 26%.
