The study aimed to analyse the body morphometrics of Sandelwood horses in Tunas Turangga group, Tugu Selatan Village, Bogor District. The subjects is comprised 7 stallion and 27 mares of Sandelwood horse. The morphometric variables measured included head length, neck length, body length, body height, chest circumference and chest width. The results indicated that stallion had greater head length, neck length and body height and mares exhibited greater body length, chest circumference and chest width. The majority of the variables exhibited low levels of diversity, with the exception of neck length, which demonstrated moderate diversity. By age group, in stallions I1 were the largest and I4 the smallest while in mares, I1 were the highest and I3 the smallest. This study provides morphometric picture of Sandelwood horses, offering a valuable foundation for initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of these equines and safeguarding their genetic diversity.
