| Abstract: | Fenomena perubahan iklim akibat pemanasan global telah menjadi
permasalahan besar dan mengancam lingkungan, terutama di wilayah perkotaan
yang padat penduduk menyumbang emisi karbon dalam skala besar. Di Indonesia
salah satu kota yang padat penduduknya adalah Jakarta. Dengan demikian
diperlukan upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan dengan memperluas Ruang
Terbuka Hijau (RTH). Salah satu RTH di Jakarta yang berperan dalam
permasalahan adalah Tebet Eco Park (TEP) yang berada di wilayah Jakarta Selatan.
Namun, tingginya aktivitas pengunjung pada kawasan tersebut dapat berpotensi
melebihi daya dukung kawasan dapat mengancam kelestarian fungsi ekosistem.
Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini diperlukan untuk megoptimalkan kawasan TEP.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengestimasi kapasitas daya dukung dari
kawasan TEP; (2) mengestimasi nilai ekonomi karbon kawasan TEP; (3)
merekomendasikan alternatif strategi pengelolaan kawasan TEP. Metode analisis
data yang digunakan antara lain carrying capacity, benefit transfer, dan
PROMETHEE. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TEP terjadi under
carrying capacity saat low-season dan peak-season. Nilai ekonomi dari potensi
cadangan karbon pada TEP sebesar Rp231.544.580,74696 per tahun. Nilai ini
menunjukkan bahwa TEP berkontribusi dalam menyerap karbon dengan cadangan
karbon yang dimiliki. Rekomendasi alternatif strategi yang efektif untuk
pengelolaan adalah peningkatan fasilitas kawasan TEP dengan menerapkan green
infrastructure. The phenomenon of climate change due to global warming has become a major environment issue, especially in densely populated urban areas that contribute carbon emissions. In Indonesia, one of the populated cities is Jakarta. Therefore, efforts are needed to overcome the problem by expanding Green Open Space (GOS). One such GOS in Jakarta that plays a role in the problem is Tebet Eco Park (TEP) located in South Jakarta. However, the high visitor activity in the area can potentially exceed the carrying capacity, threatening the sustainability of ecosystem functions. Therefore, this research is needed to optimize the TEP area with the aims to: (1) estimate the carrying capacity of the TEP area; (2) estimate the carbon economic value of the TEP area; (3) recommend alternative strategies the management of the TEP area. Data analysis methods used include carrying capacity, benefit transfer, and PROMETHEE. The results of the study showed that TEP was under carrying capacity during the low and peak-season. The economic value of the potential carbon stock is IDR 231.544.580,74696/year, This value shows that TEP contributes to sequestering carbon. Alternative recommendations for effective strategies for management are the improvement of TEP area facilities by implementing green infrastructure. |
