| Abstract: | Konservasi geosite bernilai budaya penting di geopark memerlukan strategi kolaboratif yang melibatkan masyarakat lokal, seperti pendekatan Areal Konservasi Kelola Masyarakat (AKKM). The conservation of significant cultural value geosites within geoparks requires a collaborative strategy that involves local communities such as the AKKM approach. Identifying AKKM is a strategic measure in sustainable geopark management. However, AKKM in Karst Sangkulirang–Mangkalihat remains unidentified. In Batu Lepoq Village, the Dayak Basap community demonstrates significant local wisdom in environmental. This research seeks to identified areas of cultural significance, map AKKM, and create conservation education materials for the community. The study collects data through in-depth interviews, FGD, participatory observation, and participatory mapping. The research identifies 17 culturally significant areas within Batu Lepoq Village, categorised according to their historical, religious, and cultural values. Gua Mengkuris, Gunung Kepang, and Kiamplasan are classified as AKKM, illustrating management practices rooted in local knowledge that promote ecosystem sustainability and enhance community well-being. Conservation education aims to increase awareness of geosites among local communities and tourists through community-based initiatives. |
