| Abstract: | Perdagangan internasional berperan penting dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi, terutama bagi negara berkembang seperti Indonesia. International trade plays a crucial role in economic growth, especially for developing countries like Indonesia. A key challenge is Non-Tariff Measures (NTMs) imposed by importing countries. This study examines the impact of Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) Measures and Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) on Indonesia’s paper exports to the EU using the Gravity Model with panel regression (2010-2023). This study employs a quantitative approach using the Gravity Model, which assesses the impact of economic and regulatory factors on Indonesia’s paper export volume. Panel data regression is conducted to identify the relationship between NTMs and other economic variables affecting Indonesia’s paper exports. Results indicate that SPS negatively affects exports, while TBT positively influences them. Additionally, exporter GDP, export prices, and COVID-19 impact significantly influence exports. Indonesia must enhance NTM adaptation strategies, including sustainability certifications, production efficiency, and government private collaboration, to maintain export competitiveness in the EU market. |
