Abstract: Salah satu aspek penting dalam penilaian Good Dairy Farming Practice (GDFP) adalah kesejahteraan hewan.
One of the important aspects of the Good Dairy Farming Practice (GDFP) assessment is animal welfare. Animal welfare includes physical, mental, and determinant aspects such as freedom from hunger and thirst, freedom from discomfort, freedom from pain, accidents, and diseases, freedom from fear, and freedom in expressing behavior. This study aims to evaluate the most influential determinants of dairy cattle from the aspect of animal welfare using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The method used was a survey and interview method with 11 farmers who are members of the KANIA Dairy Cattle Farmers Group (KTTSP) Cijeruk and 4 experts consisting of academics, practitioners, and the government. The results showed that the criteria for animal welfare aspects in livestock free from hunger and thirst had a combined value and the highest priority vector of 24% of the total achievement of 75% with an AHP weight of 0.32. This criterion is a priority aspect that must be prioritized.
