| dc.description.abstract | One of the commodities with the highest trading rate in the world is coffee and Indonesia is one of the biggest exporters of coffee in the world. However, coffee farming in the scale of smallholders in Indonesia still struggles in several areas that ended up decreasing their ability to maximize their productivity. This study aims to analyze the impact of partnership as one of the solutions for farmers productivity on farming performance as well as the factors that influence farmers to participate in partnership. Based on the results of this research using binary logistic regression, cooperatives membership, access to extension services, farmer groups membership, and access to credit at the significance level of 1% and gender at the significance level of 10% positively affect farmers participation in partnership. Meanwhile, age, level of education, and amount of family members doesn’t affect farmers participation significantly. On the other hand, the result from the propensity score matching analysis shows that partnership significantly and positively affect production and cost with a significance level of 10%. Meanwhile, contract farming doesn’t affect productivity, income, and profit significantly. | - |
