Murraya paniculata, also known as orange jessamine or mock orange, is valued for its aromatic flowers, edible fruits, and medicinal properties. The plant has been used for treating a range of ailments, including diarrhea, fever, inflammation, and abdominal pain. Murraya paniculata also has a history of medicinal use in traditional Asian medicine systems. Previous studies have reported that the plant possesses anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anti-obesity, and antioxidant properties, which can be attributed to the presence of various phytochemicals, including alkaloids, flavonoids, and terpenoids. |
