Air
rebusan lengkuas memiliki aktivitas anti cendawan tertinggi terhadap Botrytis sp.,
namun perlakuan pasca panen tidak mampu mengendalikan penyakit buah. Strawberries are susceptible to pathogen infection, both in the field and in storage. The main postharvest pathogenic fungi of strawberry fruit are Botrytis sp., Colletotrichum sp., and Rhizopus sp. Various controls are still being taken to prevent the spread of diseases. Since the strawberry fruit are direct consumed product, so it is necessary to apply control technology that is safe for consumers and environmentally friendly. This research aims the effectiveness of various natural ingredients in inhibiting Botrytis sp. growth and fruit rot diseases. The experiment consisted of an in vitro effectiveness test with a media poisoning technique. The materials tested were boiled water of galangal, cinnamon, lemongrass, aloe vera, and chitosan. Boiled water of galangal has the highest antifungal activity against Botrytis sp., but post-harvest treatment was not able to control fruit disease. |
