sebanyak 15 mahasiswa. Penelitian dilakukan secara luring pada bulan Juni–
Agustus 2024 di Teaching Café, Departemen Gizi Masyarakat. Instrumen
pengukuran tingkat satiety index menggunakan kuesioner Visual Analogue Scale
(VAS). Perbedaan satiety index dihasilkan yaitu sereal jagung sebesar 131% dan
sereal beras sebesar 114%. Perbedaan satiety index antara kedua sereal tidak
berbeda signifikan (p>0,05). Adulthood begins at the age of 19 years and there is an increase in energy and nutritional needs due to changes in body composition. Energy and nutrient intake that does not meet needs can cause nutritional problems, one of which is obesity. Obesity is a condition where fat accumulates which can cause the risk of metabolic and degenerative diseases. Obesity can be prevented by consuming foods with a high satiety index score. This research aims to determine and analyze the differences in the satiety index of corn cereal and rice cereal. This research design is a semi-crossover study with a total of 15 students as subjects. The research was conducted offline in June–August 2024 at the Teaching Café, Department of Community Nutrition. The instrument for measuring the satiety index level is the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) questionnaire. The difference in the satiety index produced was corn cereal at 131% and rice cereal at 114%. The difference in satiety index between the two cereals was not significantly different (p>0.05). |
