kegiatan operasi kapal pukat cincin mini. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui
wawancara dan observasi lapang. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis
deskriptif dan gap analysis. Plastik yang digunakan pada perbekalan operasi kapal
pukat cincin mini adalah jenis thermoplastic. Estimasi sampah plastik yang
dihasilkan seluruh trip armada pukat cincin mini dalam satu tahun maksimal 3,8
ton.
penerapan sistem reward and punishment, pembuatan tempat penampungan
Wastes frum supplies of mini purse seiners are not taken back to the Sungailiat Fishing Port. Existing regulations on waste management on fishing vessels have not been fully implemented. Therefore, some strategies need to be formulated to enforce these regulations. The objectives of this study are: to identify the types and uses of plastic materials, to estimate the amount of plastic debris generated by the purseiners, to formulate management measures for handling wastes from the purse seiners. Data collection was conducted through interviews and field observations. This study applied descriptive analysis and gap analysis. The types of plastics among wastes generated by the purseseiners were thermoplastic. The estimated waste generated by all operational trips of mini purseseiners in one year at maximum of 3.8 tonnes. This study recommends development of standard operating procedures of port waste management, applying a reward and punishment scheme, constructing disposal system for the wastes generated by fishing vessels, and optimising the plastic waste recycling system to produce paving blocks. |
