A IDRIS.
A IDRIS Zooplankton Diversity Identification in the Marine Lake Ecosystem and Surrounding Waters of Misool District, Raja Ampat Regency. Supervised by ENDANG SUNARWATI SRIMARIANA and DEA FAUZIA LESTARI. A marine lake is a landlocked body of water with a subterranean connection to the ocean.. Many zooplankton studies have been conducted in Indonesian waters but not many have been conducted in the marine lake ecosystem. This research is important considering the role of zooplankton as bioindicators of an environment. This study aimed to identify species and analyze the community structure of zooplankton in the marine lake ecosystem of Misool, Raja Ampat, Southwest Papua. Data were collected in 7 marine lake ecosystems on May 2-10, 2023. Horizontal towing method was used. Based on the results of the study, 23 genera of zooplankton were found. Nauplius, Oithona, and Acartia were the most common organisms found with a percentage of 54.3%. The zooplankton community structure in the study area showed diversity indices ranging from 0.52 to 2.11, evenness indices ranging from 0.48 to 0.97, and dominance indices ranging from 0.16 to 0.74, with moderate dominance by Nauplius observed in the inner area of Tipkapas Lake Keywords: zooplankton, marine lake, Misool Raja Ampat, Nauplius-
