mana betina nyata lebih tinggi dibandingkan jantan This study aims to examine the effect of gender differences and feeding time on livestock behavior. This study used 12 garut sheep with an average weight of 23,68±6,70 kg. The feed given was a combination of commercial concentrate (70%) and forage (30%). The research design was a completely randomized design (CRD) with a 2x2 factorial pattern. The main factor was sex (male and female) the second factor was feeding time (P1 and P2), namely P1 = 70% concentrate (morning) + 30% forage (afternoon) and P2 = 70% concentrate (afternoon) + 30% forage (morning). The results showed there was an interaction between sex and feeding time on ingestive behavior. Sex had a significant effect (P<0,05) on resting duration, where female sheep had a significantly higher resting time than males (P<0,05). Sex had a significant effect (P<0,05) on ingestive duration, where females were significantly higher than males. |
