dc.description.abstractNilai produksi hasil perikanan ditentukan berdasarkan berat dan harga acuan ikan yang diperoleh pada saat setelah penangkapan ikan berlangsung. Perhitungan tersebut meliputi volume dan berat ikan yang tertangkap di dalam palka kapal. Perhitungan volume dan berat yang dilakukan secara manual membutuhkan waktu yang lama dan tenaga lebih. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dalam membuat alat pengukur volume dan berat ikan pada palka berbasis IoT dan Membuat rancangan dan uji coba sistem alat pengukur volume dan berat ikan pada model palka kapal berbasis IoT. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan menciptakan sebuah prototype. Prototyppe alat pengukur volume dan berat memiliki sistem yang mampu mengirimkan data volume dan berat secara real time. Nilai volume yang dikirimkan dari prototype memiliki perbedaan dengan nilai volume yang dihitung secara manual. Nilai berat yang dikirimkan memiliki perbedaan dengan perhitungan dengan timbangan digital. Perlakuan 1, rata-rata nilai berat dari prototype sebesar 5740,53 gr. Perlakuan 2 memiliki rata-rata niali berat dari prototype sebesar 9632,73 gr. Perlakuan 3 memiliki rata-rata niali berat dari prototype sebesar 13492,6 gr. dc.description.abstractThe production value of fishery products is determined based on the weight and reference price of fish obtained at the time after fishing takes place. The calculation includes the volume and weight of fish caught in the hold of the ship. Calculation of volume and weight done manually requires a long time and more energy. This study aims to identify the needs in making a fish volume and weight measuring device in an IoT-based hatch and to design and test a system for measuring the volume and weight of fish in an IoT-based ship hatch model. The research method used is the experimental method by creating a prototype. The prototype of the volume and weight measuring device has a system that is capable of sending volume and weight data in real time. The volume value sent from the prototype has a difference with the volume value calculated manually. The weight value transmitted has a difference with the calculation with digital scales. Treatment 1, the average weight value of the prototype is 5740,57 gr. Treatment 2 has an average weight value of 9632,73 gr. Treatment 3 has an average weight value of the prototype of 13492,6 grams.
