Indonesia faces challenges in providing equitable and sustainable energy access, especially in rural areas. The nyamplung-based Energy Independent Village Program (DME) emerges as an innovative solution by harnessing local potential for bioenergy production. This study aims to analyze the financial feasibility of the DME program's sustainability and conduct a SWOT analysis to understand the factors affecting its implementation. Financial data were obtained from literature, along with monthly inflation data from Bank Indonesia. The results of the financial feasibility analysis indicate that the program is financially viable for re- implementation. The SWOT analysis identifies strengths in the availability of the by-products that can be produced, despite weaknesses related to high initial investment costs. This program also offers opportunities in the form of financial benefits but must anticipate threats from price fluctuations. These findings confirm that nyamplung-based DME has the potential for sustainability to be developed.
