dc.description.abstractLebah Tetragonula laeviceps merupakan salah satu serangga penyerbuk yang berperan penting dalam meningkatkan produksi tanaman. Namun, populasi lebah mengalami penurunan akibat beberapa ancaman seperti penggunaan insektisida yang tidak bijaksana. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh insektisida indosakarb dan azadirakhtin terhadap kertertarikan serta mortalitas pada T. laeviceps. Pengujian ketertarikan dilakukan dengan metode uji olfaktori menggunakan tabung-Y olfaktometer dengan membandingkan preferensi sumber aroma terdiri atas insektisida dengan bahan aktif indosakarb dan azadirakhtin, adjuvan alkilaril poliglikol eter, air, dan sukrosa. Pengujian mortalitas dilakukan dengan aplikasi dermal dan oral secara tunggal serta dengan penambahan adjuvan pada enam taraf konsentrasi insektisida. Mortalitas serangga diamati pada 24 dan 48 jam setelah perlakuan. Berdasarkan uji ketertarikan, lebah T. laeviceps lebih tertarik pada indosakarb (61,75%) dibandingkan azadirakhtin (38,25%) (p-value < 0,05). Pengujian toksisitas insektisida indosakarb dengan metode topikal, residu dan oral menunjukkan nilai LC50 berturut-turut sebesar 0,89; 2,83; dan 7,80% dan azadirakhtin sebesar 21,3; 52,4; dan 40,8%. Nilai LC50 menunjukkan insektisida indosakarb 15, 38 dan 130 serta azadirakhtin 100, 257 dan 204 kali lebih tinggi dibandingkan konsentrasi anjuran pada metode topikal, residu dan oral. Penambahan adjuvan menurunkan nilai LC50 insektisida indosakarb sebesar 1,2: 1,59; dan 1,02% dan azadirakhtin sebesar 3,43; 1,46; dan 1% dengan metode aplikasi topikal, residu dan oral.
dc.description.abstractTetragonula laeviceps play an important role in increasing the crop yield. Currently, the improper use of insecticides poses a major threat causing bee population decline. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of indoxacarb and azadirachtin insecticides on T. laeviceps. The methods used in the test were olfactory response and mortality test of dermal (topical and residual) and oral application. Olfactory response on T. laeviceps was conducted using Y-tube olfactometer by comparing odor sources, insecticides from two active ingredients (indoxacarb and azadirachtin), adjuvant alkylaryl polyglycol ether, water, and sucrose. Meanwhile, the mortality test of T. laeviceps was conducted using topical, residual, and oral applications at six concentration levels without and with adjuvant. Mortality was recorded at 24 and 48 hours after treatment. Olfactory test result showed T. laeviceps more attracted to indoxacarb than azadirachtin without and with adjuvant (p-value < 0,05). Mortality tests on topical, residue, and oral revealed LC50 value respectively 0.89, 2.83, and 7.80% on indoxacarb and 21.3, 52.4, and 40.8% on azadirachtin. LC50 value on topical, residue and oral respectively showed insecticide indoxacarb 15, 38, and 130 along with azadirachtin 100, 257, and 204 times higher than the recommended concentration. Inserted adjuvant decreased LC50 value on topical, residue, and oral respectively 1.22, 1.02, and 1.59% on indoxacarb and 3.43, 1, and 1.46% on azadirachtin.
