| Abstract: | Distribusi ikan dari Pelabuhan Perikanan Karangsong berkontribusi penting dalam memenuhi permintaan pasar. Efektivitas distribusi berperan dalam memastikan produk ikan sampai ke pasar dengan kualitas baik dan harga yang kompetitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efektivitas distribusi dan pemasaran produk ikan tenggiri dari Pelabuhan Perikanan Karangsong ke berbagai pasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tantangan signifikan dalam menjaga kualitas ikan selama proses distribusi. Penerapan sistem rantai dingin terbukti penting untuk mempertahankan mutu ikan, namun masih belum diimplementasikan secara optimal di semua jalur distribusi. Nilai uji organoleptik ikan mengalami penurunan, di PPI Karangsong nilai rata-ratanya yaitu 8,04 sedangkan di pasar tujuan nilainya 7,19 dan 7,46. Penelitian ini menekankan perlunya peningkatan fasilitas pendukung dan efisiensi distribusi untuk mengurangi kerusakan dan fluktuasi harga ikan di pasar. Implikasi dari temuan ini dapat membantu dalam merumuskan kebijakan yang lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan daya saing produk perikanan di pasar. The distribution of mackerel from Karangsong Fishing Port plays a crucial role in meeting market demand. Distribution effectiveness ensures that fish products reach the market with good quality and competitive prices. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of fish product distribution and marketing from Karangsong Fishing Port to various markets. The research results indicate significant challenges in maintaining fish quality during the distribution process. The implementation of a cold chain system is proven essential for preserving fish quality, but it has not yet been fully optimized across all distribution channels. The organoleptic test values of the fish decreased, with an average score of 8.04 at Karangsong Fishing Port, while the scores at the market destinations were 7.19 and 7.46. This study highlights the need for improved supporting facilities and distribution efficiency to reduce spoilage and price fluctuations in the market. The findings have implications for formulating more effective policies to enhance the competitiveness of fishery products in the market. |
