Waste is something that is no longer used, not used, disliked, or something that has been thrown away that originates from human activities and does not occur by itself. Household waste is one of the main problems in the community and one of the main factors of environmental pollution. According to Law No. 18 of 2008, waste management is a systematic, comprehensive, and sustainable activity that includes waste reduction and handling. Organic waste is waste that cannot be recycled, whereas organic waste is in the form of food scraps, leaves, vegetable scraps, and others. The importance of organic waste management aims to reduce environmental pollution, reduce the burden on landfills, encourage a sustainable economic cycle, and produce environmentally friendly products. One of the effective organic waste management is to use it as feed in the process of bioconverting organic waste into maggot oil. The mass balance in the production of BSF maggot is important to measure the efficiency of the conversion of feed into maggot biomass. The results of weighing fresh larvae from no repetition were 845,3 grams and dry larvae were 288,6 grams which produced 55 ml of maggot oil.-
