Abstract: Pasca pandemi COVID-19, permintaan minyak mentah global meningkat seiring dengan pemulihan ekonomi.
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, global crude oil demand has increased in line with economic recovery. However, oil production has not kept pace with the increase in demand, so further exploration is needed to increase oil and gas energy reserves in Indonesia. Seismic inversion obtains the acoustic impedance value of rocks and detects the presence of hydrocarbons through seismic wave reflections. The sweetness attribute, combines high amplitude and low frequency. This study utilizes KOLA-1 well data with a depth of 13.816 ft (4.211,12 m) and 12 2D seismic lines, aiming to identify reservoir zones in the Akimeugah Basin, Papua. Using seismic inversion method and sweetness attribute, the target zone is estimated to be located between Top Piniya Formation (9.906,84 ft) and Top Woniwogi Formation (11.707,3 ft). Model-based inversion results show strong correlation (0,977627) and low error (0,212523), while sweetness attributes reveal clear sweet spot anomalies in almost all seismic lines. There is no significant visual difference between the inversion amplitude results and the sweetness attribute.
