Abstract: Peminjaman peralatan laboratorium tingkat sarjana di Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) saat ini masih dilakukan secara manual. Peminjam harus mengisi formulir peminjaman alat secara langsung di laboratorium. Hal tersebut memakan waktu, tenaga, serta penggunaan kertas yang tidak sedikit. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, penulis membuat sistem peminjaman alat laboratorium tingkat sarjana berbasis website yang memudahkan akses dan pengelolaan alat. Penelitian serupa telah dilakukan oleh Hermawan dan Fadjeri (2022) yang berjudul "Sistem Peminjaman Alat Praktikum Lab Multimedia Berbasis Website". Penelitian tersebut dilakukan guna menangani masalah peminjaman dan pengembalian alat laboratorium yang sebelumnya masih menggunakan pencatatan manual melalui buku. Sistem peminjaman alat laboratorium tingkat sarjana di IPB dikembangkan menggunakan metode Agile dan dirancang dengan Unified Modeling Language (UML). Fitur utama sistem ini memungkinkan pengguna melihat ketersediaan alat serta melakukan peminjaman secara online dari jauh hari, sehingga mengurangi interaksi untuk membooking alat secara langsung dan mengurangi penggunaan formulir kertas. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode black box testing untuk memastikan setiap fitur berfungsi sesuai dengan tujuannya. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa semua fitur telah berfungsi sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kemudahan dalam proses peminjaman serta pengembalian alat laboratorium tingkat sarjana di IPB.
Undergraduate Laboratory Equipment Loan System at IPB University is currently still done manually. Borrowers must fill out the equipment loan form directly in the laboratory. This process is time consuming, requires effort, and uses a significant amount of paper. To address these issues, the author developed a webbased undergraduate laboratory equipment loan system that facilitates access and management of the equipment. Similar research has been conducted by Hermawan and Fadjeri (2022) titled 'Web-Based Multimedia Lab Practicum Equipment Loan System.' That study was carried out to handle the problems of borrowing and returning lab equipment, which were previously recorded manually through a logbook. The undergraduate laboratory equipment loan system at IPB was developed using the Agile methodology and designed with Unified Modeling Language (UML). The main feature of this system allows users to view equipment availability and book equipment online in advance, thereby reducing the need for direct interaction to book equipment and minimizing the use of paper forms. System testing was conducted using the black box testing method to ensure that each feature functions as intended. The test results showed that all features worked as expected. This system is expected to facilitate the process of borrowing and returning undergraduate laboratory equipment at IPB.
