The Gorontalo government's efforts to address these issues is through public spending, which aims to allocate resources towards development that benefits the poor, focusing on economic, educational, and health expenditures. However, in reality, the increase in government spending in Gorontalo Province has not been accompanied by a reduction in income inequality and poverty. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the impact of government spending on income inequality and poverty in Gorontalo Province using the Dynamic Panel Data Method. The results show that of the analysis show that spending on economic functions and health functions can reduce income inequality, while spending on education functions can actually increase income inequality.
