dc.description.abstractPertambahan jumlah penduduk Indonesia terus meningkat setiap tahunnya menyebabkan permasalahan ekonomi dan lingkungan yang semakin kompleks. Salah satu dampak signifikan dari meningkatnya populasi adalah peningkatan volume limbah rumah tangga, terutama limbah organik yang belum dikelola secara optimal. Hal ini menjadi tantangan serius di Desa Sukaharja, di mana limbah organik seringkali mencemari lingkungan dan meningkatkan risiko kesehatan masyarakat. Upaya untuk mengatasi limbah organik adalah melalui pemanfaatan maggot BSF. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan limbah organik di Desa Sukaharja, mengetahui tingkat pemahaman dan pengetahuan petani mengenai nilai tambah dan manfaat produk turunan maggot BSF di Desa Sukaharja, dan mengetahui persepsi petani terhadap metode pengolahan pasca panen maggot BSF yang dapat diterapkan di Desa Sukaharja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah data kualitatif didukung dengan kuantitatif. Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan observasi, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), pre test dan post test, kuesioner, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permasalahan seperti pencemaran limbah, kelangkaan pupuk, dan harga pakan unggas dan ikan yang tinggi. Salah satu solusi yaitu dengan penyuluhan budidaya dan pengolahan pasca panen maggot BSF. Adanya peningkatan pengetahuan secara nyata sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan penyuluhan dilakukan. Hasil perhitungan skor terkait persepsi petani terhadap metode pengolahan pasca panen menunjukkan mayoritas petani memilih metode sangrai sebagai metode pengolahan pasca panen yang nantinya akan diterapkan.-
dc.description.abstractIndonesia's population continues to increase every year, causing increasingly complex economic and environmental problems. One significant impact of the increasing population is the increasing volume of household waste, especially organic waste that has not been managed optimally. This is a serious challenge in Sukaharja Village, where organic waste often pollutes the environment and increases public health risks. An effort to overcome organic waste is through the utilization of BSF maggot. The research objectives were to identify organic waste problems in Sukaharja Village, determine the level of understanding and knowledge of farmers regarding the added value and benefits of maggot BSF derivative products in Sukaharja Village, and determine farmers' perceptions of maggot BSF post-harvest processing methods that can be applied in Sukaharja Village. The research method used is qualitative data supported by quantitative. Data were collected using observation, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), pre test and post test, questionnaires, interviews, documentation, and secondary data studies. The results showed that problems such as waste pollution, fertilizer scarcity, and high poultry and fish feed prices. One solution is the counseling of BSF maggot cultivation and post-harvest processing. There was a real increase in knowledge before and after the counseling activities were carried out. The results of the score calculation related to farmers' perceptions of post-harvest processing methods show that the majority of farmers choose the roasting method as the post-harvest processing method that will be applied later.-
