| Abstract: | Mangrove di daerah Jakarta bagian utara memiliki peran yang besar dalam upaya
pencegahan abrasi pantai, penyeimbang kualitas air dan udara, dan mencegah intrusi air
laut. Pemantauan mangrove perlu dilakukan sebagai salah satu kegiatan untuk pelestarian
kondisi mangrove. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan dan menganalisis sebaran dan
perubahan luas mangrove degan menggunakan NDVI di TWA Angke Kapuk, Pantai Indah
Kapuk, Jakarta Utara, DKI Jakarta. Analisis kerapatan mangrove menggunakan metode
Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI). Pengambilan data lapang sebanyak 80
titik mengggunakan metode hemispherical photography serta menggunakan transek 10x10
meter menyesuaikan resolusi spasial citra sentinel-2A. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 3
kelas kerapatan mangrove yaitu kelas rapat dengan luasan sebesar 19,91 ha, kelas sedang
18,06 dan kelas jarang 64,6 ha pada tahun 2017. Tahun 2023 luas mangrove pada kelas
rapat memiliki luasan sebesar 104,06 ha, kelas sedang 16,3 ha dan kelas jarang 95,11 ha.
Luasan total mangrove pada tahun 2017 sebesar 102,57 ha dan luasan total mangrove pada
tahun 2023 sebesar 215,47 ha. Perubahan sebaran kerapatan mangrove dalam waktu 6
tahun seluas 112,9 ha. Nilai akurasi citra Sentinel-2A yaitu 81,25% menggunakan metode
confussion matrix.
Kata kunci : Mangrove, Kerapatan, NDVI, TWA Angke Kapuk, Sentinel-2A Mangroves in northern Jakarta play a major role in preventing coastal abrasion, balancing water and air quality, and preventing seawater intrusion. Mangrove monitoring needs to be done as one of the activities to preserve mangrove conditions. This study aims to map and analyze the distribution and changes in mangrove area using NDVI in TWA Angke Kapuk, Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta, DKI Jakarta. Mangrove density analysis using the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) method. Field data collection of 80 points using hemispherical photography method and using 10x10 meter transect adjusting the spatial resolution of sentinel-2A image. The results showed 3 classes of mangrove density, namely the tight class with an area of 19.91 ha, medium class 18.06 and sparse class 64.6 ha in 2017. In 2023 the mangrove area in the tight class has an area of 104.06 ha, medium class 16.3 ha and sparse class 95.11 ha. The total mangrove area in 2017 amounted to 102.57 ha and the total mangrove area in 2023 amounted to 215.47 ha. Changes in mangrove density distribution within 6 years amounted to 112.9 ha.
