Abstract: INTAN FANDINNY. Fatherless, Kelekatan Ibu-Anak, Penerimaan Diri, dan Harga Diri Remaja Keluarga pesisir di Wilayah Pangandaran. Dibimbing oleh MELLY LATIFAH. Ayah dengan profesi nelayan berpotensi kehilangan banyak waktu bersama anaknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kelekatan ibu-anak dan fatherless terhadap penerimaan diri dan harga diri remaja pada keluarga di wilayah pesisir Pangandaran. Penelitian melibatkan 244 siswa dari empat SMA-SMK negeri dan swasta di Pangandaran. Data dikumpulkan pada Januari-Maret 2024 menggunakan instrumen Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment, the State Self Esteem Scale, Unconditional Self-Acceptance, Psychological Health, dan Perceived Father Involvement Inventory yang dimodifikasi oleh peneliti. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan usia anak dan jenis kelamin (0= Laki-laki, 1= Perempuan ) berhubungan negatif signifikan dengan harga diri. Pendidikan orang tua, kelekatan ibu-anak, dan fatherless berhubungan positif signifikan dengan harga diri, sementara jenis kelamin berhubungan negatif signifikan dengan fatherless. Hasil uji SEM menunjukkan pengaruh langsung. kelekatan ibu-anak terhadap penerimaan diri, fatherless terhadap harga diri, dan penerimaan diri terhadap harga diri. Kelekatan ibu-anak serta fatherless juga memengaruhi harga diri secara tidak langsung melalui penerimaan diri. INTAN FANDINNY. Fatherlessness, Mother-Child Attachment, Self Acceptance and Self-Esteem of Adolescents of Coastal Families in Pangandaran Area. Supervised by MELLY LATIFAH. Fathers with the profession of fishermen have the potential to lose a lot of time with their children. This study aims to analyze the effect of mother-child attachment and fatherlessness on children's self-acceptance and self-esteem in families in the Pangandaran Coastal area. The study involved 244 students from four public and private high schools and vocational schools in Pangandaran. Data were collected in January-March 2024 using the Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment, the State Self-Esteem Scale, Unconditional Self-Acceptance, Psychological Health, and Perceived Father Involvement Inventory instruments modified by the researcher. The results of the correlation test showed that the child's age and gender (0 = Male, 1 = Female) were significantly negatively related to self esteem. Parental education, mother-child attachment, and fatherlessness were significantly positively related to self-esteem, while gender was significantly negatively related to fatherlessness. The results of the SEM test showed a direct effect. mother-child attachment on self-acceptance, fatherlessness on self-esteem, and self-acceptance on self-esteem. Mother-child attachment and fatherlessness also indirectly affect self-esteem through self-acceptance.
