Title: Persepsi Masyarakat Sekitar Kebun Raya Bogor Terhadap Kehadiran Spesies Tumbuhan Asing Invasif Bogor

Abstract: Spesies tumbuhan asing invasif yakni tumbuhan yang harus diwaspadai keberadaannya sebab berpotensi membahayakan tumbuhan asli di daerah tersebut. Studi ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi persepsi masyarakat sekitar Kebun Raya Bogor terhadap keberadaan spesies tumbuhan asing invasif serta menjadi pengetahuan awal sebagai dasar dalam merumuskan penanganan yang efektif. Data studi diperoleh dari wawancara dengan 110 partisipanserta eksplorasi terkait sebaran spesies tumbuhan asing invasif. Studi ini mengindikasikan bahwasanya masyarakat Kecamatan Bogor Tengah mempunyai persepsi positif terhadap kehadiran spesies tumbuhan asing invasif, dibuktikan dengan perolehan skor akhir penilaian persepsi untuk spesies tumbuhan Clidemia hirta 2,44,Ageratum conyzoides 2,35, Psidium guajava 2,48, Abrus precatorius 2,43, dan Rivina humilis 2,42. Hal ini selaras dengan ketentuan bahwasanya skor >2.00 merepresentasikan persepsi positif. Suatu alasan masyarakat mempunyai persepsi positif yakni dipengaruhi oleh level pengetahuan terkait spesies invasif serta manfaat spesies tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Adapun hasil inventarisasi tumbuhan asing invasif didapat 29 individu tumbuhan dari 5 spesies yangdidapat. Kata kunci: Kebun Raya Bogor, persepsi, spesies tumbuhan asing invasif
Invasif alien plant species are plants that must be aware of their existence because they have the potential to harm native plants in the area. This study aims to identify the perceptions of the community around the Bogor Botanical Garden towards the presence of invasif alien plant species and to provide initial knowledge as a basis for formulating effective treatments. Research data were obtained from interviews with 110 partisipants as well as exploration related to the distribution of invasif alien plant species. This study shows that the people of Central Bogor Sub- district have a positive perception of the presence of invasif alien plant species, as evidenced by the final score of perception assessment for plant species Clidemia hirta 2,44, Ageratum conyzoides 2,35, Psidium guajava 2,48, Abrus precatorius 2,43, and Rivina humilis 2,42. One of the reasons why people have positive perceptions is influenced by the level of knowledge related to invasif species and the benefits of these species in everyday life.
