Indonesia as a country with the largest number of Muslims in Indonesia, should be able to optimally implement the salam contract. However, in reality, the application of salam contracts in Indonesia is still not optimal. Therefore, this study aims to identify barriers to the application of salam contracts in agriculture, identify the application in countries that have implemented salam contracts, and formulate a model for implementing salam contract financing for Indonesian agriculture. This research uses a systematic literature review method to answer the research questions. The results show that the implementation of the salam contract has many obstacles, both from the side of Islamic financial institutions, the community, and farmers. Some countries that have implemented salam contracts in their agriculture are Sudan, Pakistan, and the United Emirates. Then, this study also developed a model for the application of salam contracts for agriculture in Indonesia. |
