dc.description.abstract | Kawasan mangrove merupakan habitat yang memiliki peranan penting sebagai tempat hidup dan berkembang biak berbagai macam biota termasuk kepiting bakau. Komposisi jenis dan kelimpahan kepiting bakau di Kawasan Ekowisata Mangrove Sari hingga saat ini masih minim informasi sehingga diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis komposisi jenis dan kelimpahan kepiting bakau (Scylla spp.) dan hubungan antara kepiting bakau dengan kondisi mangrove. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober -November 2023 di Kawasan Ekowisata Mangrove Sari, Brebes. Pengambilan sampel kepiting menggunakan alat tangkap bubu dan data mangrove diukur dengan metode plot lingkaran yang dikumpulkan dari tiga stasiun. Komposisi jenis kepiting bakau yang ditemukan terdiri dari tiga spesies, Scylla serrata, Scylla paramamosain, dan Scylla tranquebarica yang didominasi oleh kisaran ukuran lebar karapas 75-87 mm. Kelimpahan total kepiting yang tertangkap sebesar 13100 ind/ha. Ekosistem mangrove yang terdapat di Kawasan Ekowisata Mangrove Sari termasuk dalam kategori rapat yang didominasi oleh R. mucronata. Hubungan antara kepiting bakau dengan kondisi mangrove memiliki korelasi positif. | - |
dc.description.abstract | Mangrove areas are habitats that play an important role as a place for various biota to live and breed, including mangrove crabs. Composition of species and abundance of mangrove crabs in the Mangrove Sari Ecotourism Area is still lacking information, so further research is needed. This study aims to analyze the composition of species and abundance of mangrove crabs (Scylla spp.), and the relationship between mangrove crabs and mangrove conditions. The study was conducted in October - November 2023 in the Mangrove Sari Ecotourism Area, Brebes. Crab sampling used trap fishing gear and mangrove data was measured using the circle plot method collected from three stations. Composition of the mangrove crab species found consisted of three species, Scylla serrata, Scylla paramamosain, and Scylla tranquebarica which were dominated by a carapace width range of 75-87 mm. Total abundance of crabs caught was 13100 ind/ha. Mangrove ecosystem in the Mangrove Sari Ecotourism Area is included in the dense category dominated by R. mucronata. Relationship between mangrove crabs and mangrove conditions has a positive correlation. | - |
