The decay of biomass waste such as corn cob waste and pine wood chips without proper utilization will cause environmental pollution problems. Therefore, it is necessary to utilize biomass. One of the biomass utilization is the conversion of corn cob waste and pine wood powder into biopellets. Biopellets are used as an alternative energy source that is more environmentally friendly than fossil fuels. The purpose of this research is to identify the moisture content, ash content, and calorific value of biopelets made from corn cobs and pine sawdust, and to calculate the burning rate of the biopelets made. Biopellets were made with three different composition variations, namely the ratio of 30:70, 50:50, and 70:30. Biopellets with a mixture of corn cob and pine sawdust have a moisture content ranging from 1.68% - 3.45%. The ash content of biopellets is between 1.35% - 5.88%. The calorific value of biopellets ranged from 5246 - 6145 cal/g. Moisture content and calorific value have met the quality requirements of SNI 8021:2014, but the ash content in treatments B and C has not met the quality requirements of SNI. The burning rate of biopellets ranged from 0.6514 - 0.9084 gr/min with a burning time of 50.23 - 65.02 minutes.
