| dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) untuk melakukan pengujian otomatis pada website E-logbook PT Telkom Satelit Indonesia, dengan menggunakan framework Selenium IDE. Studi ini berupaya menilai efektivitas dan efisiensi pengujian otomatis dibandingkan dengan pengujian manual. Tujuannya adalah untuk menggabungkan pengujian otomatis dengan menggunakan pendekatan STLC dan mengevaluasi efektivitas dan efisiensi relatifnya. Strategi STLC menjamin prosedur pengujian yang metodis, dengan mengikuti semua langkah pengujian secara teliti. Pengujian otomatis menggunakan Selenium IDE menunjukkan waktu eksekusi yang lebih cepat dengan total selisih 113 detik dibandingkan pengujian manual. Fitur record & playback pada Selenium IDE berperan penting dalam kecepatan pengujian otomatis yang memungkin perekaman dan pemutaran ulan tindakan secara otomatis yang menghasilkan pengurangan waktu eksekusi dibandingkan dengan pengujian manual. Hasil ini menekankan potensi manfaat penggunaan Selenium IDE dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak. | - |
| dc.description.abstract | This study employs the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) approach to perform automated testing on the E-logbook website of PT Telkom Satelit Indonesia using the Selenium IDE framework. The aim of the study is to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of automated testing compared to manual testing. The objective is to integrate automated testing with the STLC approach and evaluate its relative effectiveness and efficiency. The STLC strategy ensures a methodical testing process, with meticulous adherence to all testing steps. Automated testing using Selenium IDE demonstrated a faster execution time with a total time difference of 113 seconds compared to manual testing. The Record & Playback feature in Selenium IDE plays a crucial role in enhancing the speed of automated testing by allowing automatic recording and playback of user actions, which results in reduced execution time compared to manual testing. This finding underscores the significant benefits of using Selenium IDE in software development. | - |
