Abstract: Kampus Sekolah Vokasi IPB Sukabumi merupakan salah satu penghasil limbah termasuk limbah bahan berbahaya dan beracun. Limbah B3 yang dihasilkan belum dikelola sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku. Limbah B3 yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan akademik seperti kemasan bahan kimia dibuang ke tempat sampah yang berisi sampah organik dan anorganik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi jumlah timbulan limbah B3 yang dihasilkan pertahun dan merancang desain TPS limbah B3 di Kampus Sekolah Vokasi Sukabumi. Metode penelitian meliputi observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Hasil observasi lapangan menunjukkan bahwa limbah B3 yang dihasilkan di kampus Sekolah Vokasi IPB Sukabumi meliputi larutan bekas kimia, oli bekas, limbah sisa solar, lampu bekas, baterai bekas, limbah elektronik, dan kemasan bekas B3. Rincian teknis yang disusun mencakup klasifikasi limbah, desain TPS, prosedur penyimpanan sementara, serta penyusunan dan penyampaian laporan penyimpanan limbah B3. Desain TPS LB3 dirancang dengan dimensi 4,5 m x 3,3 m dengan volume bak penampung 0,88 m3 dan ketebalan dinding 0,2 m.
The Vocational School Campus of IPB Sukabumi is one of the producers of waste, including hazardous and toxic waste. The hazardous waste produced has not been managed in accordance with the applicable regulations. Hazardous waste generated from academic activities, such as chemical packaging, is disposed of in trash bins that contain both organic and inorganic waste. The purpose of this research is to identify the amount of hazardous waste generated annually and to design a hazardous waste temporary storage facility at the Vocational School Campus in Sukabumi. The research methods include field observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results of the field observation indicate that the hazardous waste generated at the Vocational School of IPB Sukabumi includes used chemical solutions, used oil, leftover diesel waste, used lamps, used batteries, electronic waste, and used hazardous waste packaging. The technical details prepared include waste classification, TPS design, temporary storage procedures, as well as the preparation and submission of hazardous waste storage reports. The design of the hazardous waste storage facility (TPS) is planned with dimensions of 4,5 m x 3,3 m, a containment volume of 0,88 m3, and a wall thickness of 0,2 m.
