Abstract: | Perairan Palabuhanratu memiliki potensi sumberdaya ikan pelagis dan demersal yang melimpah. Penggunaan lampu pada bagan apung sangat mempengaruhi keberadaan ikan. Faktor lain yang dapat membuat ikan berkumpul karena tersedianya sumber makanan. Booster umpan dengan kandungan ikan rucah, cumi-cumi dan telur yang berfungsi untuk merangsang indera penciuman dan nafsu makan ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui komposisi ikan hasil tangkapan, menentukan pengaruh penggunaan booster umpan dan menentukan produktivitasnya. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan uji-coba penangkapan ikan sebanyak 16 trip. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bagan apung perlakuan memperoleh hasil tangkapan ikan total 771,3 kg yang terdiri dari ikan pelagis dan ikan demersal masing-masing berjumlah 274,6 kg dan 496,7 kg. Sementara bagan kontrol memperoleh hasil tangkapan ikan total 368,1 kg yang terdiri dari ikan pelagis dan demersal masing-masing berjumlah 156,6 kg dan 211,5 kg. Produktivitas bagan apung perlakuan dan kontrol masing-masing sebesar 48,2 kg/trip, 8,7 kg/hauling dan 23,0 kg/trip, 5,7 kg/hauling. Sementara persentase nilai margin produksi bagan apung perlakuan terhadap kontrol adalah 109,5%.
Penggunaan booster umpan berpengaruh nyata terhadap peningkatan hasil tangkapan dan frekuensi hauling bagan apung. Palabuhanratu waters have the potential for abundant pelagic and demersal fish resources. The use of lights on a bagan floating lift net greatly influences the presence of fish. Another factor that can make fish gather is the availability of food sources. The bait booster contains trash fish, squid, and eggs which functions to stimulate the fish's sense of smell and appetite. This research aims to determine the composition of fish caught, determine the effect of using bait booster and determine its productivity. Data collection was carried out using 16 fishing trials. The results of the research showed that the treatment floating lift net obtained a total fish catch of 771.3 kg consisting of pelagic and demersal fish amounting to 274.6 kg and 496.7 kg respectively. Meanwhile, the control floating lift net obtained a total fish catch of 368.1 kg, consisting of pelagic and demersal fish amounting to 156.6 kg and 211.5 kg respectively. The productivity of the treatment and control floating lift net was 48.2 kg/trip, 8.7 kg/hauling, and 23.0 kg/trip, 5.7 kg/hauling, respectively. Meanwhile, the percentage of margin value of the treatment floating lift net compared to the control was 109.5%. The use of booster bait has a significant effect on increasing catches and frequency of hauling floating lift net. |
