dc.description.abstractAndrographis paniculata is actually a plant native to India, and then grew and spread across many tropical countries including Indonesia. It grows up to 90 cm tall, with dark green, square stems and lance-shaped leaves. The plant produces small pink flowers and capsules containing yellow-brown seeds. It thrives in moist, shady places and is widely cultivated in Southern. Andrographis paniculata has been traditionally used to treat a wide range of ailments, including: 1) Fever and infections; 2) Digestive disorders; 3) Liver and kidney diseases; 4) Diabetes; 5) Cancer: While more research is needed, some studies suggest potential anticancer properties. And many more uses from Andrographis paniculata. The content of active compounds such as andrographolide plays an important role in the pharmacological activity of sambiloto.id
